We are pleased to have worked with the University of Liverpool (ULCCO) to complete an insulation project for a new student accommodation block in the centre of Liverpool. The pressure was on to complete the project within a tight time frame during half term time, with the students arrival just around the corner for the new term.
Spray foam was considered as the best option to insulate the underside of the concrete car park soffit, directly beneath living accommodation. The amount of pipework and services present meant that installing a fixed board type of insulation would have taken weeks to complete.
Websters sprayed a thickness of 100 mm to achieve the target U-Value and then painted it white to finish off. The total area insulated and painted is 1,003 square metres. We completed on Sunday 31st August 2014.
